[Post Game Thread] The Golden State Warriors (13-12) defeat the San Antonio Spurs (14-11), 114 - 91
[–]San Francisco Warriors ILikeAllThings 22
Good bounce back after that 20 turnover disaster yesterday. Much better team effort, better rebounding in the 2nd half and solid defense really made a close game at half an easy victory. Still, can’t wait until either Looney and/or Wiseman get back. Have to tip my hat to Damion Lee, he’s really become a good bench player, very consistent.
Could be a 3-1 or even 4-0 but given that we have no players over 6'7". 2-2 is pretty solid at the texas road trip.
[–]Laughing Planet 136
should be 3-1 but got hosed by whistles. Could have been 4-0
[–]Jake FromImgur 19
Fuck it why aren’t we 25-0
At least it's a learning experience.
You gotta play close games before you can learn how to execute them properly as a team.
Those types of games will pay off dividends in the playoffs this year and next even if the losses sting now.
Kinda, but it's starting to become a pattern where our wins are blowouts and our losses are close. If the close ones start to go our way we could go on a bit of a streak.
[–]Finessetheboy 78
This team plays like a 10th or 3rd seed there is no in between
Im hoping we can beat the magic and build momentun before nets game. We can beat the nets if we play well
Nets have no defense. We know Steph will go off. It's a matter of whether he gets some help
We're going to need Wiseman back for the Nets. Just feed him in the low post and lobs. The Nets traded away their answer to Wiseman
The Warriors will drop 150 on the Nets. Curry will personally hit 17 3s to break Klay's record.
[–]Warriors pinkiebear 156
Steph playing the way he’s playing with the zero spacing he has.. this is why a good team around him went 73-9 lol
[–]Foolishtrolls 22
This is a bad game by his standards too
[–]Pistons SignificantChapter 40
Did you watch the game? He took over in the 3rd
[–]Foolis htrolls 26
I did watch the game. This was a compliment to him. It’s obviously a good game, but he’s done better on numerous occasions.6-8 free throws, a missed open layup and 4/10 from three. Yes the circus shot was beautiful
[–]Warriors Balls_of_Adamanthium 962 指標 8小時前*
Huh what the fuck? This is literally the craziest circus shot I’ve ever seen. No joke. This shit is absurd.
[–]Warriors klankthompson 29
[–]Spurs the_murcielago 13 指標 8小時前
Even though its against my team I can't be mad. That's just amazing.
Seriously one of the most amazing finishes I've seen, Steph makes this shit look routine
[–][IND] Rik Smitsdiggardens 5
That’s what I’m talking bout Steph! Some Jordan stuff there. That’s why we watch the NBA!!
[–]Tampa Bay Raptors jamiebt 283
Top 5 all time Curry play
[–]Mavericks rednaxer 10
Washington should make Curry their logo because he is an actual Wizard
[–][GSW] Ian Clarkwtfea 68
I’m convinced steph sees the world in slow motion
[–]Warriors surosregime 73
Steph Curry highlight reel gonna be long af
the more ridiculous, the more likely it is going in
im not a golden state fan, but ability wise curry is the best i've ever seen, insane 3 shooter, amazing with the ball, sees the pass, anyone agrees?
[–][GSW] Monta Ellis baby_hooper 253
Most skilled player ever
[–]Bucks RenDabs 218
For real, the casual fan doesn't realize he's not only the greatest shooter ever but also one of the greatest finishers at the rim
One of the greatest ball handlers of all time as well.
[–][GSW] Monta Ellisbaby_hooper 41
5 players ever could probably do that. Bird, Bron, MJ, Curry, and Kobe
I don't think that's a Bron play lol. Bron is amazing for different reasons, not whatever the fuck I just saw that warlock Steph do
[–][CLE] LeBron James Scatteredbrain 18
yea kyrie has some absolutely filthy finishes at the rim. always one of the first people i think of when anyone talks about most impressive circus shots at the rim
[–]Warriors DuckieTheDuckie 43
I can’t be the only one who thinks his finishing is so much better this season
People really got it stuck in their head that KD was the real reason for golden states dominance. This is literally just a continuation of his unanimous MVP 2016 season. Second best player in the league.
[–]bape_x_anime 390 指標 8小時前
Cant believe I actually thought Steph was never gonna return to MVP form boy am i dumb
[–]Warriors GuntherTime 216
Hey at least you come out and said admitted you were wrong.
2 missed ft's tonight ):
What a terrible shooter
[–]Warriors oheyson 23
If his ft% drops below 90, fucking cut him.
Great win guys. I think this is the best I’ve ever seen Steph play, he’s unbelievable for my money he’s better than in 2016. He’s stronger, smarter, a better finisher and defender. He’s not shooting quite as well but he’s still ridiculously efficient and man we are so lucky to have gotten to watch this man play basketball
[–]redrio100_rtn 5 指標 3小時前
2016 he was quicker, more explosive, got his shots blocked less. He got to the cup easier, more often, and finished better.
2015-16 curry is arguably the greatest modern (1979-present) offensive season ever. I think it is.
He’s been fantastic this year. . Legit MVP candidate. One of his best seasons ever, but he’s a step down from that demon who terrorized the league in 15-16 in very subtle ways.
[–]Warriors KanyeWest_GayFish 79 指標 8小時前
He's in the middle of his prime
Hopefully he’s going the lebron route and only in his 2nd prime.
He hasn't even peaked yet. I think those KD years really let Steph coast a bit.
[–]NBA StatFlow 69
I'm pretty sure Steph is right now better than he was in 2016. What he's missing in quickness, he has made up for in strength and a more nifty handle, so now he has like 4 options off the dribble.
[–]Warriors yodelocity 39
Steph has so more moves deep in his bag, far more than 2016.
He's also just mean now, and bullies guys who used to punk him. Way stronger and physical like you said.
At this rate, Steph might be MVP
I know that it's fun to see Steph roll into the 4th and keep balling, but if him sitting out most of the 4th means that we get to keep seeing him do insane shit like that reverse he pulled off tonight, for a few seasons more- I'll take it.
It might blasphemous to say this, but I honestly think this is the best he's ever played. We're seeing his complete game as he's carrying this team, putting up #'s and doing shit that's absurd while teams throw the kitchen sink at him. People said he couldn't/wouldn't do it without Klay/KD, good supports, etc. But he's letting critics take their seats while he balls out.
Also, I love seeing how Wiggins is progressing even on off nights, seeing him get annoyed about letting a bucket in while they're up 20 is the kind of drive he's always needed, but now showing.
And where the hell did Juan-T come from? This dude has low-key been great at filling in for them.
Juan is great and he's from Oakland. He is Draymond-lite
Steph is in MvP form and the we’ll go as far as Wiggins/Oubre/Lee/Bazemore can defend and hit shots.
JTA has been unbelievable and is becoming one of our most important bench pieces.
[–][GSW] Stephen Curry raikou1988 31
I want wannamaker gone!
[–]Celtics carefullywasnt 31
You think you do, but look what happened to us as soon as Brad Wanamaker left. You'll wake up with Jeff Teague coming off the bench
Jeff Teague has been trash for a couple years now. Surprised he's still in the league.
Lee passed the torch of his boneheaded plays to Wanamaker this year
[–]Warriors tarallelegram 6
seriously, what’s the point in having him on the team? he sucks
Literally no other PG on the team after Steph.
Bazemore and Lee hit some clutch 3s to keep our lead in the early 4th. Props to them
This team has pride and fight. We didn't let the last couple close losses influence our effort tonight. The bench, specifically Paschall, were great in the 4th. Hopefully this game gets Paschall his mojo back. Steph was insane as usual and Draymond was better.
[–][GSW] JaVale McGee ashwinr136 12
I love draymond
